The Blog

To New Beginnings and Endings
The day of the pitch, I was a total mess. Not only did I have to speak in front of 50+ people (including judges and investors!) in just a few hours, but I also thought it’d be a brilliant idea to bake cookies, brownies, and cupcakes… the day of.
You won’t believe what happens next.

Stressed Spelled Backwards
After I posted my last blog, I got flooded with messages, and nearly all of you had the same reaction:
“The end of LoLo’s Cakes?? Wait...what does that mean?”
Great question—and I’m glad you asked.

The Opportunity
On April 2nd, I got a phone call that changed everything. How exactly? Spoiler: It might be the end of LoLo’s Cakes as you know it.
Cupcakes, Chaos, & Clarity
LoLo’s Cakes started with a nickname, a little creativity, and a lot of late nights. What began as me baking a few cakes for fun slowly turned into something much bigger, all while trying to juggle school, work, and everything else life was throwing at me. It was chaotic, messy, and honestly overwhelming at times—but my love for baking has never changed. In this post, I want to share the story of how LoLo’s Cakes came to life, and how leaning into creativity helped me find a surprising sense of clarity in the middle of it all.

Blame it on Carrie Bradshaw
Carrie Bradshow, toxic men…and LoLo’s Cakes? How do all of these connect, you ask? Welcome to my first blog post in a four-part series where I connect these seemingly separate topics and begin the introduction of who LoLo really is.
